  • David Christie

Manufacturing Futures is led by David Christie who has nearly 30 years’ experience in the recruitment sector following an early career within manufacturing. Having moved through work, study and production to warehouse and distribution, he became a senior personnel manager before joining the recruitment industry.

Whilst most of David’s experience has been recruiting for the manufacturing sector, he has also had success within a number of other commercial organisations. In addition, he is currently part of a large business network dealing with SME support and has recruited a number of senior people to become involved with management buy-outs/buy-ins. 
David’s breadth of experience, in recruitment and management, stretches from the shop floor to the boardroom.

  • Mike Grossbard

Mike has over 24 years experience in the recruitment sector following an early career as a Qualified Mechanical Engineer in both precision and heavy engineering manufacturing gaining excellent first hand, knowledge of the skills and processes used in manufacturing.

Mike has particular expertise within this sector having recruited to Director level in a wide range of manufacturing and engineering companies and has gained an in depth understanding of the skills and the culture of the industries he serves.

After graduating Chris’ early career was in Financial Services. Chris then entered recruitment and worked nationally at board level across a variety of industries. He joined Manufacturing Futures in 2012 to provide a higher quality of recruitment service after deciding to concentrate on manufacturing businesses in Yorkshire and Lancashire recruiting from mid-management upward

Darren has over 20 years’ experience in the technical recruitment sector with a particular specialism in Engineering & Manufacturing. Darren offers the full 360° recruitment process and a true consultative approach to both clients and candidates. He operatives effectively across all manufacturing sectors with a range of clients from SME’s to global Blue Chip groups. Darren recruits heavily across the design, project delivery and mid-management skill-sets.

He now focuses on higher levels of recruitment from mid – management to Director level on a national basis within the Engineering industry. Mark prides himself on providing an exceptional recruitment service to each and every one of his clients.

George, an Engineering & Manufacturing Recruitment Consultant, joined Futures after initially pursuing a career with an industry leading manufacturing business. Focusing his efforts on technical positions George prides himself on the quality of his candidates presented to employers and the care spent with each candidate to pinpoint their ideal career opportunity. Particular areas of expertise include leadership, maintenance, quality, design and production roles within FMCG manufacturing.
